Welcome to the Peggy Sanders website! Peggy is an author, columnist and public historian in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Her books include: Fall River County and Hot Springs: Views from the Past 1881-1955, Fall River County and Hot Springs: 125 Years, Custer County, The Civilian Conservation Corps: In and Around the Black Hills, and Wind Cave National Park: the First 100 Years. As a newspaper columnist, Peggy writes for The Fence Post, the Hot Springs Star and the Western Livestock Reporter.
